To kick-off the Quang Ngai Traditional Martial Arts Championship 2024

On April 22, at the Provincial Multipurpose Gymnasium, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Provincial Martial Arts Federation organized the Quang Ngai Traditional Martial Arts Championship in 2024. 
The tournament gathers 122 athletes representing 9 clubs with a strong movement in the province.
In the content of Youth Championship, athletes compete in two age groups of 14-15 years old and 16-17 years old.
In the content of Championship, athletes compete in 9 weight classes from 49kg to over 85kg for men and 8 weight classes from 44kg to over 75kg for women.
According to the organisers, this year's tournament is an important event to re-evaluate the training and competition of Martial Arts in localities.
It is also a good opportunity to select excellent martial artists for the upcoming tournaments.
The tournament is scheduled to close on April 27.
