The Prime Minister requests Quang Ngai to soon handle the shortcomings to complete land acquisition

Hien said that Quang Ngai province always shows the highest determination to organize the implementation of relevant contents since the project through the province is one of the important local political tasks. 

Quang Ngai has so far completed the site clearance of 99% of the total planned area. 

Regarding resettlement areas, the province has handed over 723 resettlement land plots to households.

The relocation of public works is also basically completed, ensuring that it does not affect the construction progress of the main axis.

Regarding construction materials for the project, which is estimated at over 11.5 million m3, the province will ensure the source of materials for project construction. 

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also raised a number of difficulties about compensation, affecting the progress of site clearance work of the project.  

Provincial leaders organized a physical inspection to grasp the situation and direct the definitive handling of problems in accordance with the provisions of law.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested Quang Ngai government to direct relevant agencies, units and localities to review each specific situation to soon complete the site clearance work on schedule.

Reportedly, Quang Ngai–Hoai Nhon Expressway Project has a total construction investment of VND 20,470 billion with a total length of 88 km (Quang Ngai 60.3 km, Binh Dinh 27.7 km).

The starting point of the project connects with Km127+720 of Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway (in Nghia Ky commune, Tu Nghia district) and the ending point intersects with Provincial Road 629, in Bong Son ward, Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh province.

The project passes through the following districts: Tu Nghia, Nghia Hanh, Mo Duc, and Duc Pho town in Quang Ngai Province, and Hoai Nhon town in Binh Dinh province.
