The “Golden Rice Cup” Volleyball Championship 2024 opens in Quang Ngai

On May 7, Quang Ngai province organized the 19th Traditional Farmers Volleyball Tournament "Golden Rice” Cup in 2024. 
The event was held by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Provincial Farmers' Association.
The Tournament takes place in three days (May 7-9, 2024) with nearly 200 athletes from 13 farmers' volleyball teams in the province.
The event was organized to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - 2024), the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2024).
It also promotes physical training and sports activities among officials and farmers, creating conditions for Farmers' Associations in the province to learn and exchange experiences.
This is a traditional tournament which is held annually at all levels of the Farmers' Association.
The Tournament has an important meaning in taking care of the spiritual life of farmers and encourage farmers to overcome difficulties in production, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development goals.
