Workshop on Digital transformation in the health sector

On October 13, the Department of Health organized a digital transformation workshop and launching ceremony for the digital transformation movement in the health sector in 2023. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien attended the event. 
The workshop was connected online to 200 bridge points at medical facilities under the Provincial Department of Health.
In recent years, the Quang Ngai Health sector is making efforts on the digital transformation, striving to form a smart medical network basing on 03 pillars: Smart disease prevention; Smart medical examination and treatment; and Smart medical management.
Implementing the year of digital data, the Quang Ngai Health sector has deployed and achieved some results. The proportion of the adult population using remote medical consultation and treatment support platforms is over 30%. The Department of Health has also deployed remote medical consultation and treatment using the software "Doctor for every home" since early 2023.
More than 187,000 people have been created accounts; over 16,000 medical consultation and treatment appointments through the "Doctor for Every Home" software and nearly 16,000 people received consultation and treatment.
The Health Department has piloted Electronic Health Record software in the province from many service providers. So far, nearly 80% of people have electronic health records.
At the Workshop, delegates heard 03 presentations on data warehouse solutions for the health sector; Non-cash payment solutions for medical services, smart medical solutions; solution "Electronic medical records".
On this occasion, the National Health Communications Center and the Health Department of Quang Ngai province signed a memorandum of understanding to fully support the health digital transformation work for the province's health sector.
