Urgently implement solutions to ensure traffic safety

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the heads of agencies, units and localities to continue strictly implementing the Plan No. 68/KH-UBND dated April 26, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee to implement Resolution No. 48/NQ - CP dated April 5, 2022 of the Government on enhancing traffic order and safety and combating traffic congestion in the period 2022 - 2025 in Quang Ngai province and Plan No. 12/KH - People's Committee dated January 20, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of solutions to ensure traffic order and safety in the period of 2021 - 2025.

They strengthen propaganda to mobilize cadres, party members and people from all walks of life to abide by the law on traffic safety and to strictly follow the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 2817/UBND-KTN dated June 10/ 2022 on the observance of regulations on prevention and control of harmful effects of alcohol and beer.

Provincial police continue to strengthen patrols to control and handle violations of traffic safety regulations under the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, the Traffic Police Department, the plan for the year 2022 on traffic safety.

It focuses on examining and handling people who commit violations of alcohol and drug concentration while driving; maintaining regular patrol, control activities to detect and handle high-risk behaviors leading to traffic accidents such as driving violations with alcohol, drug, speeding, overloaded cargo...

Department of Transport, Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities, Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board urgently carry out the works of improving traffic infrastructure.

They give priority to overcoming black spots, potential traffic accident spots, speeding humps, and dangerous warning signs for participants road traffic before the intersection with the railway and at the intersection from the branch road to the main road.

They install median strips at road sections that are eligible; definitively handle the self-opening passage through the railway; have a plan to ensure traffic safety in rainy and flood seasons.

They organize a strict inspection at the mineral mine to check the volume of minerals before taking them out of the mine according to the provisions of Decree No. 158/2016/ND-CP dated November 29, 2016 of the Government.

At the same time, they use portable scales to control the load of trucks carrying goods at the entrances to the hubs of building materials and mineral mines, weighing scales have not been installed, and strictly handle them drivers, vehicle owners and people queuing up vehicles commit violations.
