The provincial social insurance and health insurance deploys tasks in the last 6 months

In the first 6 months of the year, the implementation of policies and laws on social insurance, unemployment insurance and health insurance of the provincial social insurance industry has achieved very positive results.

The sector has implemented correct settlement and payment of social insurance benefits for beneficiaries; the inspection and examination of units, especially those with outstanding debts; Administrative reform, digital transformation, and information technology application have been promoted.

In the first 6 months of 2022, the total revenue of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance is VND 1,678.401 billion, reaching 48.13% of the plan assigned by Vietnam Social Insurance, increased by 67,291 billion over the same period last year.

As of June 30, 2022, the total debt of social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and occupational accident insurance is over VND 173.7 billion.

The sector has implemented policies to support employees and employers affected by the Covid-19 epidemic in the province, with the number of 5,352 people taking unpaid leave and working without pay, 4,249 employees stopped working, with a total budget of more than VND 4.45 billion, contributing to supporting workers who have difficulties to stabilize their lives.

As of June 30, 2022, the number of people participating in compulsory social insurance was 124,736 people, reaching 93.62% of the assigned plan, an increase of 9,977 people compared to the same period last year, an increase of 2,386 people compared to the end of 2021.

The number of people participating in unemployment insurance is 113,876, reaching 92.57% of the assigned plan, up 9.52% over the same period last year and 1.92% compared to the end of 2021.

In the last 6 months of the year, the provincial social insurance unit strives to complete the targets set by the Vietnam Social Security, the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee on the number of people participating in social insurance, unemployment insurance and health insurance.

Focus on reducing the debt ratio of social insurance, unemployment insurance and health insurance to the lowest level, lower than the debt ratio in 2021, striving to complete the collection plan assigned by the Vietnam Social Security.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vo Phien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts to overcome difficulties of the Provincial Social Insurance in the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies in the area in recent years.

The PPC’s Vice Chairman suggested that the departments, sectors and members of the Steering Committee to actively coordinate and advise the PPC in implementing the Central regulations on implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies.

To promote propaganda and dissemination of health insurance and unemployment insurance policies to the grassroots so that people can see their rights and responsibilities to participate in social insurance and health insurance.

The PPC’s Vice Chairman also requested the People's Committees of districts, town and city to strengthen the Steering Committees at district and commune levels; review the development targets for participants of voluntary social insurance and health insurance, contributing to fulfilling the targets assigned by the Provincial People's Committee.
