The 14th Phu Dong Sports Games Festival 2024 of Quang Ngai province opens

In the evening of March 24, at the Multi-purpose Gymnasium of International Education City School (IEC Quang Ngai), the 14th Phu Dong Sports Games Festival 2024 of Quang Ngai province took place. 
Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee , Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Dang Ngoc Huy, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan attended the opening ceremony.
The 14th provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival takes place with the participation of 53 sports delegations from high schools and Divisions of Education and Training of districts, town and city with more than 4,000 athletes.
The Festival started on March 11, 2024 and will be completed by April 06, 2024.
It is organized in the IEC Quang Ngai with a competition scale of 15 sports, including Athletics, Swimming, Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Volleyball, Shuttlecock, Tug of War, Push Stick, Soccer, Basketball, Aerobic, Traditional Martial Arts, Taekwondo, and Vovinam.
Participants are students studying at primary, lower secondary, upper secondary schools, high schools, and vocational centers.
The participated athletes in the Festival are typical and excellent athletes in the sports movement selected from schools in the province.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the PPC’s Vice Chairman Tran Hoang Tuan emphasized that the Festival’s objective is to detect the talents and sports talents of high school students in the province, and to promote the movement of physical training and sports in schools in Quang Ngai province.
Tuan asked the athletes to compete for the goal of sports with the spirit of "exchange, learning and solidarity", contributing to the overall success of the Festival.
