Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the conference on preliminary review of Project 06

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Public Security in collaboration with the Government Office, connected online with 63 provinces and cities across the country.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Van Minh and leaders of relevant departments and agencies attended the online conference.

Implementing the Party's policy, the Government has drastically directed and implemented synchronous solutions to implement more and more effectively and practically the national digital transformation.

The Government has consolidated and established the National Digital Transformation Committee; promulgate and accelerate the implementation of digital transformation strategies and programs in most fields; focus on building policy institutions and many foundational systems for e-Government and digital government.

In the first 6 months of 2022, Project 06 has been deployed from Central government to grassroots levels, with initial positive results; people and businesses agree, support and appreciate.

Thereby, they contribute to change the way of citizen management; overcome the inconsistency and improve the quality and efficiency in citizen information management; save time and effort; create favorable conditions and an important foundation for the implementation of online public services to serve people and businesses, contributing to promoting the development of digital government, digital economy and digital society, as well as rapid recovery, social economic development.

The implementation of online public services on the basis of the national database on population has been promoted, bringing practical efficiency.

So far, there have been nearly 125 million records processed on the National Public Service Portal. Completed 21/25 public services at levels 3 and 4 according to the schedule of Project 06, bringing practical effects and meeting people's expectations.

The connection and sharing between the national database on population and the databases of ministries, branches and localities has been promoted.

Currently, it has connected and shared data with 11 ministries, branches, 14 localities and 4 state-owned enterprises.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the Ministry of Public Security and the Government Office should record the comments and suggestions from participating ministries, branches and localities to have solutions to implement the project 06 effective in the near future.

In the coming time, the whole country must persevere and be determined to well implement Project 06.

It is necessary to set specific goals and a plan for the implementation of Project 06 in each phase; mobilize creativity and resources from people and businesses to deploy the digital citizen ecosystem; manage, use and interconnect data systems to serve socio-economic development; decentralize, assign specific allocations, reward good examples, strictly handle violations; ensure harmonization of interests between individuals and businesses; put the interests of the nation and nation first.

The Prime Minister requested that the direction and administration work must be drastic, neither perfectionist nor hasty. Digital transformation is a big national job, but it must start with specific jobs.

Localities must focus on implementing and mobilizing people and businesses to participate and deploy in a practical and effective way.
