The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just signed Decision No. 906/QD-UBND promulgating the implementation plan of the National Strategy for digital economy and digital society development in the province in the period of 2022-2025.
Targets by 2025
The proportion of the digital economy will reach 20% of GDP;
The proportion of the digital economy in each industry or field shall reach at least 10%;
The proportion of e-commerce in total retail sales will reach over 10%;
The rate of enterprises using e-contracts will reach over 80%;
The percentage of small and medium-sized enterprises using digital platforms will reach over 50%…
The proportion of adult population with smartphones will reach 80%;
The percentage of the population aged 15 and over who have a payment transaction account at a bank or other authorized organization will reach 80%;
The percentage of adult population with digital signatures or personal electronic signatures will reach over 50%;
The percentage of people of working age who are trained in basic digital skills is over 70%,...
Tasks
In order to achieve the set goals, the Provincial People's Committee has set out tasks and solutions:
Focus on developing the digital economy and digital society, developing the digital economy and digital society by industry and sector;
Organize propaganda, dissemination and training on national digital platforms, typical digital economic and social models on the communication system from province to grassroots;
Investigate, survey, collect, publish statistical results, measure digital economic indicators and set basic goals of digital economy and digital society;
Assess the impact of the development of the digital economy and digital society in the province;
Assess the impacts of digital technology on society in order to have proactive solutions to minimize the negative effects of digital technology;
Form collection points for damaged and expired information technology, electronics and telecommunications products;
Promote the application of appropriate treatment technology towards a green environment and protect people's health.
