American students with summer voluntary program in Quang Ngai

The second American volunteer group of 18 students from 14 to 18 years old went to Binh Chau commune, Binh Son district to participate in the international volunteer campaign summer 2022. The Program was jointly organized by the provincial Vietnam Youth Union and the Putney Students Travel organization. 
The American student volunteer group will implement voluntary activities in Binh Chau commune, Binh Son district from July 5 to July 24, 2022. During 20 days, 18 students from different states of the US will support to build houses for 03 poor households in Binh Chau commune, with a total amount of VND 180 million.
In the evening, they will also organize an English-Vietnamese language exchange with pupils through children's songs and simple communication sentences.
At the end of the volunteering program, they will give back to local children their 18 bicycles.
Earlier, a group of 19 American volunteers went to Tinh Ky commune, Quang Ngai city to participate in the international volunteer campaign summer 2022.
This is an opportunity for students from the United States to have the opportunity to experience the cultural life of rural people in Vietnam, as well as an opportunity for young Quang Ngai to exchange and learn from foreign students.
