List of 16 Laotian students come to Quang Ngai province in early 2024

Accordingly, Champasak province has 10 targets, including 06 university-level targets and 04 medical college-level targets. Sekong and Attapeu provinces are granted 06 training targets (3 targets/province), including 02 university-level targets and 01 medical college-level target.

As planned, these Laotian students will come to Quang Ngai province in early 2024 to enroll at Pham Van Dong University, studying Vietnamese language for the first year before entering majors.

The provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, as assigned, has informed provinces of Champasak, Sekong and Attapeu, Lao PDR about the support of training scholarships in the academic year 2023 - 2024; requested these foreign localities to implement admission procedures for Laotian students as soon as possible.

Reportedly, in the period of 2021-2023, Quang Ngai province has donated scholarships for 39 Laotian students at university and college levels under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Quang Ngai province and Champasak province and Decision No. 22/QD-UBND dated November 29, 2021 by the PPC on the approval of the cooperation plan between Quang Ngai province and Champasak province and some localities of Lao PDR for the period of 2021 - 2025.
