Good signs of trade activities

A source from the Department of Industry and Trade (DIT) said that trade promotion activities have been promoted. Goods import and export activities have prospered and achieved positive results. 
The total retail sales of consumer goods and services was estimated at VND 19,389 billion, fulfilling 25.2% of the year plan. It increased 10.8% over the same period last year.
In the first 3 months of the year, the DIT consulted and organized the implementation of solutions to ensure the balance of supply and demand of the market during the Lunar New Year seriously, promptly and effectively.
DIT also implemented activities to respond to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2024 in the province.
At the same time, it coordinated with functional sectors to strengthen the inspection, control and fight against smuggling, commercial fraud, anti-production and trade in counterfeit and inferior quality goods.
