The 13rd Provincial People's Council organizes its 23rd session

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Bui Thi Quynh Van, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cao Phuc and Nguyen Tan Duc co-chaired the session.

The session considered and decided on a number of important issues relating to socio-economic development in the province and the personnel work.

At the session, Bui Thi Quynh Van requested the Provincial People's Council delegates to focus on discussing issues submitted by the Provincial People's Committee, meanwhile deciding to pass Resolutions that are close to the actual situation of the province, meeting the beliefs and expectations of voters.

The session passed the Resolution on supplementing revenue and expenditure estimates in 2024 from foreign non-refundable aid capital belonging to state budget revenue.

Additionally, the meeting passed the Resolution on public investment plan in 2024 to implement the National Target Program to build new rural areas and other programs and projects (the 3rd phase).

This session also passed the Resolution on changing the purpose of rice land use to other purposes in 2024 in Quang Ngai province.

Especially, the 23rd session passed the Resolution to dismiss Mr. Dang Van Minh from the position of the PPC’s Chairman, and the delegate of the 13rd Provincial People's Council (term 2021-2026). .

Delivering the closing speech at the session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van requested that the Provincial People's Committee urgently implement the passed resolutions immediately after the meeting,.

Meanwhile, administrative discipline should be tightened and authorities, sectors, localities and units are requested to increase their responsibility in implementing the Resolutions passed by the Provincial People's Council.
