DONRE deploys tasks in 2024

In 2023, state management of natural resources and environment continually changed positively.

Land management, surveying and mapping have met the requirements of land use for socio-economic development of the province.

The entire sector has made many efforts and proactively focused on synchronously, drastically and effectively implementing the guiding documents of the Central Government and Provincial government.

During the year, DONRE promptly advised and specified legal regulations in accordance with the reality of the province.

Administrative reform has been implemented drastically, especially investment procedures.

In 2024, DONRE will proactively prevent pollution, build a circular economy, consider waste as a resource, strictly control projects with high potential risk of causing environmental pollution.

It will synchronously and drastically deploy tasks and solutions, actively advise competent authorities to promulgate guiding documents and legal documents on the management and use of environmental resources in accordance with the provisions of law and the actual situation of the locality.

DONRE will promote administrative reform, carry out land management well, ensure regular tasks, and carry out land statistics and land inventory in 2024. In addition, the department will carry out inspection work well, check compliance with laws on natural resources and environment according to the 2024 plan and in accordance with the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Tran Phuoc Hien, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved.

He requested that in 2024, DONRE continue to strengthen propaganda and dissemination of laws on natural resources and the environment.

It should synchronously deploy administrative reform in the fields of natural resources and environment, digital transformation, and build a database of natural resources and environment.

He requested DONRE to strengthen discipline and focus on innovating state management; closely follow the resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee in all fields, and handle problems, especially in granting land use rights certificates.
