04 training courses for Laotian officials in Agriculture and Forestry field

Implementing the Cooperation Plan between Quang Ngai province with Champasak province and some localities of Lao PDR in 2023, the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has just organized 04 training courses for Laotian officials working at the Department of Agriculture and Forestry, units in Agriculture and Forestry field in districts of Champasak, Sekong, and Attapeu provinces of Lao PDR. 
Accordingly, from October 17 to November 10, 2023, the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development organized 04 training courses on cow raising techniques, fish cage farming techniques, rice production techniques and exchanging experience in agricultural extension skills. Each class consisted of 12 trainees. There were 1 class for trainees from Attapeu and Sekong each, and 2 classes for participants from Champasak. , ,
At the end of the training courses, the trainees were awarded certificates of completion of the training course issued by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Ngai province.
To train above courses, Quang Ngai side is responsible for paying all costs related to courses such as accommodation, travel, and training materials, with a total cost of about 550 million VND.
According to the trainees' evaluation, the training courses are useful and practical to help officials in the field of agriculture and forestry in Laos’ localities better understand the processes and techniques of agricultural and forestry production which can be applied in Laos’ localities in the near future.
