QNgP - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 144/KH-UBND on participating the 4th Central Ethnic Culture Festival 2023 in Binh Dinh province.

On July 18, Director of the Quang Ngai Provincial Police Department handed over the gratitude house to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Yen in Tan Phu village, Hanh Tin Tay commune, Nghia Hanh district, whose relative is martyr Nguyen Thi Sinh.

According to Mr. Dzung – Director of the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, in the first 6 months of 2023, the province welcomed 616,000 tourists, an increase of 92% over the same period last year, reaching 85% of the plan in 2023; including 6,113 international visits, an increase of 62% over the same period last year, reaching 34% of the plan in 2023.

According to Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Le Van Vin, the summer international exchange and volunteer program 2023 will be held in Quang Ngai from June 30 to July 19, 2023, with a total budget of nearly VND 400 million.

Quang Ngai province curently has about 53,000 poor and near-poor households. The province is looking for ways to help these households get out of poverty.

A source from VGP said that a series of fresh policies on value-added tax, social insurance subsidy, and car license plate auction shall take effect in July 2023.

On July 05, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 100th birthday (1923 - 2023) of Comrade Truong Quang Tuan, former member of the Executive Committee of the Inter-regional 5 Party Committee; Former Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee  in Tra Binh village, Tinh Tra commune, Son Tinh district.

The Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh provinces held a conference to review regulations on coordination in forest protection, development and management in the border area between Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh provinces, period 2019-2023.

On June 27, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Department of Mass Mobilization to organize a Coast Guard Program with ethnic and religious people in Minh Long district.
