  Acting as the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; assist Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to monitor and direct the following areas of work:

  Handle and manage the work under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (except for staff work, management and budget administration) when Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is on a business trip outside the province.

  In charge of the following areas: internal affairs; religious, judicial, civil judgment enforcement; education, training and vocational training; culture, sports and tourism; labor - war invalids and society; social insurance; family and children; other social fields; civic work, youth work.

  Acting as Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Civil Judgment Execution; Chairman of the Provincial Law Education and Dissemination Council; Head of the Steering Committee for the Advancement of Women; Chairman of the Provincial Initiative Evaluation Council; Head of the Steering Committees in the field of responsibility.

  Keep cooperative relationship with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the People's Procuracy, the Provincial People's Court, the Provincial Labor Confederation, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Women's Union, the Provincial Veterans Association and monitor other associations and communication boards... in respective fields.

  Directly handle the administrative reform work, implement the grassroots democracy regulation, settle complaints and denunciations and handle administrative violations in the field of responsibility.

  Receiving and initially handling cases of citizens gathering in front of the Headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, the Headquarters of the Provincial Party Committee and cases of illegal gatherings, affecting security and order; assign tasks to functional agencies to accept applications and decide to settle complaints for the first time with respect to the contents under the competence of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

  Directly monitor and direct agencies and units: Education and Training, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Justice, Provincial Civil Judgment Execution Department, Bao Provincial Social Insurance, Pham Van Dong University, College of Vietnam - Korea - Quang Ngai.

  Directly monitor the area of ​​Tra Bong, Nghia Hanh, Minh Long districts.
