To mobilize and receive 12,000 blood units in 2023

The Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation has just issued the Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign Plan 2023 in the province. 
The Plan sets out targets to mobilize and receive 12,000 blood units by 2023, meeting over 98% of the blood volume for emergency and treatment needs.
The Plan’s activities focuses on implementing communication campaign on the meaning of blood donation; Voluntary blood donation is a humane and noble act; Maintain good health for safe blood.
Voluntary blood donation campaign will be organized 03-04 times per month, ensuring enough blood for emergency and treatment at hospitals, health centers of districts, town and city.
It is expected that, the amount of blood received per month will be from 900-1,100 blood units.
