To improve the education quality in ethnic minority and mountainous areas

The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued document No. 4891 guiding the implementation of tasks for the 2023-2024 school year for ethnic education. 
Accordingly, the resources will prioritize to invest in upgrading schools in extremely difficult areas; improve the quality of teachers and educational administrators; implement policies for teachers, learners, and educational institutions in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
Focus on effectively implementing the general education program 2018 suitable for ethnic minority and mountainous areas; Strengthen synchronous solutions to improve the quality of education in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, especially in ethnic minority boarding schools, ethnic semi-boarding schools.
At the same time, preserve and develop the spoken and written language of ethnic minorities; Pay attention to ethnic cultural education for students in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; strengthen ethnic education management, information and communication work on ethnic education.
