The National Youth Vovinam Championship 2023 closed

On June 16, at the Multi-Purpose Gymnasium in Quang Ngai province, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the Closing Ceremony of the National Youth Vovinam Championship 2023. 
The National Youth Vovinam Championship 2023 was hosted by Quang Ngai province, starting from June 8, with the participation of more than 530 athletes from 36 provinces and cities nationwide.
Athletes competed in 78 sets of medals, at the age of 12 – 15 years old, 16 – 18 years old and 19 – 21 years old.
As resuls, the Organizing Board awarded the first prize to the Ho Chi Minh City delegation with 15 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. The second place went to Can Tho delegation with 14 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 2 bronze medals. Third place is Thanh Hoa delegation with 7 gold medals and 8 bronze medals.
The delegation of Quang Ngai province won 03 gold medals, 02 silver medals, 06 bronze medals.
The National Youth Vovinam Championship 2023 is the basis for reviewing the young athletes’ force to prepare for the Southeast Asian Student Games that will be taken place in Da Nang in August 2023.
