Supporting scholarships in the academic year 2023 - 2024 for localities of Lao PDR

Accordingly, Champasak province will be supported 10 targets; Sekong and Attapeu provinces are granted 06 training targets (3 targets/province), including university-level and medical college-level targets.

Currently, the Department of Foreign Affairs is responsible for officially informing provinces of Champasak, Sekong and Attapeu about the support of training scholarships in the academic year 2023 - 2024; requesting these foreign localities to officially register a list of students to participate in scholarships mentioned above.

Reportedly, in the period of 2021-2023, Quang Ngai province has donated scholarships for 39 Laotian students at university and college levels under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Quang Ngai province and Champasak province and Decision No. 22/QD-UBND dated November 29, 2021 by the PPC on the approval of the cooperation plan between Quang Ngai province and Champasak province and some localities of Lao PDR for the period of 2021 - 2025.
