Localities authorities

People's Committees of districts, towns and cities shall:

• Review and assess the situation of dengue fever prevention and control in the area;
• Drastically direct the implementation of prevention and control measures such as promoting communication, implementing environmental sanitation campaigns, killing larvae, and killing mosquitoes, especially at construction sites, motels, and resorts.
• Strengthen the work of inter-sectoral inspection and surveillance at the epidemic-prone areas, thoroughly handle small outbreaks, and prevent the epidemic from spreading for a long time;
• Strictly handle organizations and individuals that fail to implement epidemic prevention and control measures as prescribed.
• Organize activities to kill larvae (larvae) in the area right in November 2022, promoting communication activities to prevent and control dengue fever.

Departments

The Department of Health is assigned to:

Assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with agencies, units and localities in, preparing adequate drugs, chemicals, and specialized equipment to promptly respond to dengue fever prevention and control;

Strengthen close monitoring of cases in the community, at public and private medical examination and treatment facilities, early detection and timely handling of cases.

Strengthen investigation and early detection of disease cases to promptly handle outbreaks.

Spray insecticides to kill mosquitoes at the outbreak in accordance with the procedures and techniques according to the instructions for handling the outbreak of the Ministry of Health.

Identify, analyze and specifically assess the disease situation in localities with a high number of cases to localize and handle outbreaks;

Concentrate in high-risk areas, localities with old outbreaks, key areas, densely populated areas, traffic hubs, and places with high larva and mosquito indexes to focus resources;

Strengthen proactive prevention and control measures, actively handle thoroughly and promptly control, prevent the disease from spreading on a large scale; minimize the number of dengue cases and deaths.

Direct medical examination and treatment establishments to fully prepare drugs, medical supplies, vehicles, equipment, isolation areas;

Arrange human resources ready to receive, give first aid and treat patients according to the direction of the Ministry of Health, guidance from the Ministry of Health.

The Department of Education and Training shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with localities in, directing schools to perform well in environmental sanitation, especially tools containing domestic water and rainwater on campus, in order to limit inhibit the production of larvae.
