Quang Ngai hosts 02 Martial Arts Championships in 2023

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has recently held a press conference to announce the 24th National Traditional Martial Arts Youth Championship and the National Vovinam Youth Championship in 2023 that will be organized in Quang Ngai. 
Accordingly, the National Vovinam Youth Championship 2023 will be held from June 8 to June 17, 2023 at the Provincial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium. There are 36 delegations with 530 athletes from provinces and cities across the country. The athletes will compete for men and women contents in the groups of 12-15 years old; 16-18 years old and 19-21 years old in different weight classes.
The 24th National Traditional Martial Arts Youth Championship 2023 will be held from June 19 to 29. The Championship attracts more than 25 delegations with more than 400 athletes.
According to Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Tien Dung, Quang Ngai province is very honored to host the above 02 martial arts championships. This is a oppotunity to exchange and compete with localities in order to develop the provincial martial arts movement, creating conditions to foster talented athletes to participate in big domestic and regional tournaments.
This is also an opportunity to promote and introduce the image of Quang Ngai province to tourists across the country. The event will also a sport event that promises to have quality martial arts competitions; promoting the movement of practicing traditional martial arts among the youth.
