Provide free cleft palate surgeries for 70 poor children

On January 06, the Provincial Child Protection Fund in collaboration with Resurge International Organization started their free surgeries activity for poor and disabled patients in the province.
Accordingly, 20 members of the doctors team from Resurge International (United States) will directly examine and screen for more than 200 poor patients who have cleft lip, cleft palate, hand palms and conducted surgery for 70 cases from January 07 to 18 at the provincial Maternity and Children Hospital.
In addition, patients are also provided with accommodation and travel expenses during the surgery time.
It is known that Resurge International has cooperated with the Provincial Children Support Fund since 1999 and organized free surgeries for patients with cleft palate, cleft palate, sticky fingers for more than 10 consecutive years with 70 - 100 cases per year.
The activity has brought smiles to poor children with cleft lip, cleft palate.
