Implement COVID-19 vaccination for teachers and students

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document directing agencies, units and localities to strengthen the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination for teachers and students in the province. 
Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training was assigned to cooperate with the Department of Health, universities and colleges in the province and localities to speed up vaccination for preschool children, pupils, students, especially children from 5 to under 12 years old and complete before August 31, 2022.
To complete vaccination of 3rd and 4th shots for civil servants, public employees and employees in the Education and Training sector under the guidance of the Ministry of Health, ensuring vaccine coverage ahead the new school year.
People's Committees of districts, town and city should direct the Department of Education and Training to strengthen communication and advice to students, parents about the effects and benefits of the vaccination; mobilize students, children and parents to get timely and enough vaccination; ensuring the completion of basic dose for children from 5 to under 12 years old, booster dose for children from 12 to 17 years old by August 31, 2022.
