Urgent solutions to conserve wild birds

• Ensure efficiency, closeness to the actual situation in accordance with the functions and duties of each agency, unit or locality.
• Pay attention to the key contents such as: continuing to propagate and disseminate the law to officials and people in the province on the protection of wild animals, especially wild birds, and migratory birds according to the law.
• Mobilize people not to illegally hunt, catch, trap, slaughter, transport, trade, process, and store wild and migratory birds.
• Strictly observe the provisions of the law on biodiversity conservation, protection of endangered precious and rare species prioritized for protection.
• Actively fight and denounce violators of the law on management and protection of wild and migratory birds.
• Organize the management, protection and sustainable development of planned areas of nature reserves, species and habitat conservation areas, wetlands, bird parks, bird sanctuary and important bird areas in the region table.
• Strengthen patrol, control, prevent, arrest and strictly handle acts of illegally hunting, catching, killing, raising, confining, transporting, trading, processing, storing and consuming illegal birds wild, migratory, especially in the migratory season (from September of the previous year to April of the following year).

• Promote scientific research and technology transfer to monitor migratory birds, conserve and restore important wildlife and migratory bird areas.
• Strengthen monitoring and timely detect diseases and epidemics originating from wild and migratory birds that are at risk of spreading, affecting human health, livestock and poultry.
