To prevent cross-infection of SARS-CoV-2 in concentrated medical isolation areas

Specifically, in recent time, the province has continuously recorded positive cases of SARS-CoV-2 in concentrated isolation areas and many cases of cross-infection in isolation areas.

Due to the large number of quarantined people, localities have expanded the isolation area to the commune level, so, the management, monitoring and supervision are not really controlled. At some isolated areas, the isolators did not strictly abide the isolation rules, causing insecurity at these areas.

In order to prevent cross-infection of SARS-CoV-2 in concentrated isolation areas, the PPC’s Chairman requested the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the districts, town and city to strengthening the management, inspection and close supervision in concentrated medical isolation areas, and strictly handle cases of non-compliance with regulations.

Besides, promoting the role of local forces and community COVID-19 teams in order to mobilize people in isolated areas to strictly observe regulations on disease prevention and avoid cross-infection; mobilize the entire political system to monitor, supervise and support isolation services; directing localities to strictly manage isolation areas, especially concentrated isolation areas at the commune level.

The Department of Health, the Provincial Public Security, and the Provincial Military Command, according to their functions and tasks, support and guide localities to implement effectively, minimizing cross-infection in medical isolation areas.
