To implement the School Health Program of the period of 2021-2025

One of the important goals of the Program is to strengthen and improve the capacity of the school health system in association with the grassroots health system in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of operations, ensure good health care conditions for preschool children and students.

The Plan will review and arrange school medical staffs at educational institutions; enhancing the effectiveness of interdisciplinary coordination in school health work in association with grassroots health care; strengthen training and improving professional capacity for officials and staffs engaged in school health work; strengthen physical facilities, medical equipment and mobilize the socialization of school health in educational institutions...

By 2025, 100% of educational institutions have staffs in charge of school health or sign service supply contracts with local medical establishments; 100% of district and commune health centers have staff in charge of school health work.

100% of local governments at all levels have a coordination mechanism between the Health sector and the Education sector on school health work associated with grassroots health.

100% of educational institutions and commune-level health stations in the area have a coordination mechanism for school health work.

100% of staffs in charge of school health are trained to improve their organizational and management capacity in school health.

95% of educational institutions are guaranteed the minimum working conditions for school medical work.

100% of public educational institutions are allocated funding for school health activities from the annual budget for education and health care.
