To deploy the lottery supervision tasks in 2024

On April 15, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien, Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial Lottery Supervision Council chaired a meeting to review the Council’s supervision activities in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024. 
In 2023, Quang Ngai Provincial Lottery Company Limited developed plans, reviewed and proposed specific solutions to complete the approved tasks. The Company also opened its activity in Binh Dinh market.
The Company's operating results in 2023 met and exceeded the set plan. The lottery ticket sales revenue was 428.8 billion VND, reaching nearly 106% of the year's plan. In addition, more than 100 billion VND was paid to the State budget. The Company got more than 20 billion VND in profit after tax.

In 2023, the Provincial Lottery Supervision Council directly supervised the ticket cancellation steps, and the drawing of prizes every Saturday to ensure publicity and transparency according to regulations of the Finance Ministry.

In 2024, the Provincial Lottery Supervision Council will continue to carry out its duties and powers according to the regulations of the Ministry of Finance. Also, the Council will carry out supervision according to the agreement between the Lottery Supervision Council of Quang Ngai province and the Lottery Supervision Councils of provinces and cities in the Central and the Central Highlands regions.

In 2024, the Company strives to reach the lottery ticket sales revenue of about 435 billion VND, and to pay around 107 billion VND to the state budget. After-tax profit will be about 20.6 billion VND.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien requested the Council’s members to continue to improve their responsibility and perform well their assigned tasks. Phien also asked them to support Quang Ngai Province Lottery One Member Company to operate effectively.
Especially, Phien asked the Company to focus on building its image and brand, creating trust for customers, supporting lottery ticket sellers and promoting social security activities in the province.
