To continually, effectively implement the Politburo's resolutions on ensuring information security and network security

The Provincial Party Committee on Sept. 20 organized a preliminary conference to review 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW, dated July 25, 2018 of the Politburo on the Strategy to Defend the Fatherland in Cyberspace and Resolution 33-NQ/TW dated September 28, 2018 of the Politburo on National Border Protection Strategy (2018 - 2023). 
Major General Dang Duc Dong proposed that the province continue to promote propaganda so that the entire political system and people can clearly and correctly understand the risks from cyberspace.
From there, they will determine specifically tasks in protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach - Political Commissar of Military Region 5 praised the province's achievements in the past 5 years.
In the coming time, Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach proposed that the province continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Politburo's resolutions on ensuring information security and network security.
They strengthen the fight and early prevent cyberattacks and sabotage plots by hostile forces in cyberspace; develop plans, coordinate, share, and exchange information with specialized forces in handling situations.
The province needs to pay attention to investing in human resources and infrastructure to serve the construction of a strong provincial defense area; build a strong provincial armed force in all aspects, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
Concluding the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh requested party committees and authorities at all levels to continue to strengthen leadership and direction in building forces.
She asked them to promote the combined strength of the entire society to firmly protect national sovereignty in cyberspace.
The province's specialized forces enhance information exchange and coordinate handling of cyber security and safety incidents in information systems.
Regarding the task of protecting the national border, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the entire political system to strengthen leadership in implementing border guard work, especially management, patrolling, control, export and import at border gates, seaport.
They carry out planning for marine and island economic development of the province, associated with preserving and improving the coastal ecological environment; fight against crime and prevent and combat natural disasters, epidemics, search and rescue.
They will strengthen propaganda to the people about the task of protecting sovereignty, territorial sovereignty rights, national borders.
Units proactively ensure logistics and techniques to meet requirements and regular and unexpected work tasks.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 4 individuals with achievements in 5 years of implementing Resolution 33.
