To award the Pham Van Dong Literature and Art Prize

On July 01, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai Province held a ceremony to award the Pham Van Dong Literature and Art Prize at the Prime Minister Pham Van Dong Memorial Area in Duc Tan Commune, Mo Duc District, Quang Ngai Province. 
This is the first time Quang Ngai Province has award the Pham Van Dong Literature and Art Prize.
Experts and researchers evaluated, graded and selected 48 excellent works of 48 authors among more than 500 works.
In particular, the A prizes are in the fields of literature, music, fine arts, photography, theater, cinema, dance, folk art and literature - arts of ethnic minorities.
The winning works have clear, transparent, humanistic, aesthetic, high artistic value content, showing a glorious tradition in the cause of national construction and defense; reflecting the renovation process and the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.
The Pham Van Dong Prize, named the Late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong, honors and appreciates the Prime Minister's contributions to cultural, literary and artistic research activities.
