The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee informs former provincial leaders about the socio-economic situation

On behalf of the Standing Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee reported the province's socio-economic situation in the first 2 months of 2024.

In particular, industry, trade, services, and budget revenue all achieved high results over the same period.

Industrial production index increased by 20.8%. Agricultural production was basically stable. State budget revenue increased by 37.8%.

Disbursement of public investment capital achieved positive results. It is estimated that by March 31, 2024, disbursement will reache 15.3% of the assigned capital plan.

Culture and society continue to receive attention. Social security, and gratitude activities have been emphasized. Political security, social order and safety have been maintained. Key projects are being implemented to ensure the set schedule.

In the coming time, they suggested that provincial leaders should continually focus on administration and direction to achieve the set goals and tasks. Believing that with the dynamism, enthusiasm, bravery and creativity of the current provincial leaders, Quang Ngai will overcome immediate difficulties and will accelerate development steps.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Bui Thi Quynh Van, respectfully thanked the opinions and statements of the former provincial leaders.

She suggested that former leaders should continually contribute enthusiastic opinions to develop the province in the future.
