The Quang Ngai Folk Song - Bai Choi Art Festival 2024

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Nguyen Tan Duc, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Lu Ngoc Binh attended the event.

The Festival attracted the participation of more than 130 artisans, actors, and musicians from 5 districts, city, and town in the province. Participants performed 12 unique performances of folk art-Bai Choi of Central Vietnam. The performances praised love for the homeland and country, the Party, Uncle Ho.

This was a meaningful cultural and artistic activity, contributing to honoring and promoting the value of Bai Choi art in the Central region which has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.

This was also an opportunity for artisans, artists, and lovers of folk art singing and bai choi to exchange experiences,  promote cultural and artistic activities and movements at the grassroots level, especially the folk art of Bai Choi, thereby contributing to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural and artistic values of the nation and improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people.

As a result, the Organizing Board awarded 1 A prize, 2 B prizes, 1 C prize in the skit content, and 2 A prizes, 3 B prizes and 3 C prizes in the performance content.

The performances "Love for the Homeland" of Mo Duc district and "Quang Ngai New Day" of Tu Nghia district won the A prize.

In addition, the Organizing Board gave additional awards to the youngest actor.
