The Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control works on the epidemic situation

Reported by the provincial Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, in the past 2 weeks, the whole province recorded 750 cases, an increase of 52 cases compared to 14 days ago, including 327 community cases.

New epidemic outbreaks have arisen in An Hoi Nam 1 village, Nghia Ky commune, Nghia Thang commune (Tu Nghia), Dong Thanh Garment Company in Tinh Phong Industrial Park, Son Ha commune (Son Ha), Ba Giang commune (Ba To).

So far, the province has completed vaccination against Covid-19 with 1^st dose for 98.4%, 2^nd dose for 88.7% of people aged 18 years and over; and 1^st dose for 29,566 children 12-17 years old.

Speaking at the meeting, Mrs. Bui Thi Quynh Van said that, when the province reopens to recover the economy, if not strictly controlled, the epidemic will break out widely in the community.

Van requested the Provincial Command Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control to direct the health sector to prepare scenarios before piloting F0 treatment at home.

To develop a plan to expand facilities for F0 treatment in case the number of F0 increases.

It’s necessary to set up plan to inject 3^rd doses of Covid-19 vaccine; purchase medical equipment and supplies to effectively serve the prevention and control of epidemics.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Command Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control to strengthen the inspection work at the grassroots to promptly detect and strictly handle localities with serious violations; promote propaganda for people in raising their responsibility to join hands in epidemic prevention and control, etc.
