The project of developing non-cash payment in Vietnam in the period of 2021 - 2025

The Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1813/QD-TTg dated October 28, 2021 approving the Project on development of non-cash payment in Vietnam in the 2021-2025 period.
The specific goal by 2025 is targeted as following:
The value of non-cash payments is 25 times higher than GDP;
Non-cash payment in e-commerce will reach 50%;
From 80% of people aged 15 and over have transaction accounts at banks or other authorized organizations;
It increases people's access to payment services;
It will also increase the number of points accepting cashless payments to over 450,000 points.
