The plan of strengthening environmental protection, food safety and rural clean water supply

75% of the rural population will sustainably access to standard clean water with a minimum quantity of 50 liters/person/day;

20% of the rural population can use clean water from centralized water supply works;

At least 30% of rural households segregate solid waste at source;

50% of plastic waste in the area will be collected, reused, recycled and treated according to regulations;

At least 20% of concentrated rural residential areas have a domestic wastewater collection system and are treated with appropriate and effective measures;

50% of district-level units deploy an appropriate and effective decentralized collection and treatment of domestic wastewater in the areas.

At least 80% of livestock waste and 60% of agricultural by-products will be collected, reused and recycled into environmentally friendly materials, fuels and products;

50% of communes have a collection tank for plant protection drug packages meeting standards and sufficient quantity and have a plan to collect, transport and treat plant protection drug packages in accordance with regulations;

100% of solid waste and 50% of production wastewater from traditional craft villages are collected and treated according to regulations;

100% of establishments producing, preliminarily processing and slaughtering animals, and trading in agriculture, forestry and fishery will meet all conditions to ensure food safety;

80% of rural households and 90% of schools and health stations will build toilets to meet standards and regulations.
