The national week of clean water and sanitation in 2022

Accordingly, the national week of clean water and sanitation in 2022 was launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development with the theme of: "Sustainably manage, operate and exploit water and agricultural sanitation works” It aims at  improving the understanding, responsibility, participation and commitment in operating sustainable rural water supply and sanitation works.

On the other hand, it will call on people to act together so that people can have enough and use clean water effectively to ensure hygiene.

The main activities of the week are propaganda, widely disseminated on mass media.

Communication campaigns will be held in the form of face-to-face or online in order to educate, raise awareness, change the behavior of the community about using clean water, maintaining environmental sanitation, and personal hygiene to improve the quality of life health and disease prevention.

For schools, it is possible to integrate educational and propaganda activities on the above contents into the teachers' lectures in the lessons in the form of face-to-face or online.
