The National Target Program of new rural construction in Quang Ngai province in 2024

According to the Plan, in 2024, Binh Son district will meet new rural standards and Duc Pho town will complete the task of new rural construction.  Six communes will meet new rural standards. In addition, 10 communes will meet advanced new rural standards and 35 villages meet new rural standards in mountainous communes.

The PPC assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) to coordinate with relevant departments and People's Committees of districts, town and city to organize the implementation of the Plan. Also,  DARD was requested to coordinate with the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Quang Ngai Newspaper,... to carry out programs about the National Target Program for building new rural areas in the province.

The Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) was assigned to coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, relevant departments, sectors and localities to review, synthesize needs and allocate capital to implement the Program. Moreover, DPI was asked to guide departments, sectors and localities to integrate capital sources from other programs into the new rural construction program.
