Strengthening measures to prevent and fight forest fires

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued Directive No. 07/CT-UBND on strengthening measures to prevent and fight forest fires in 2023 in the province. 
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the heads of the departments, departments, branches, the Chairman of the People's Committees of the districts, towns, cities and relevant units and suggested the relevant socio-political organizations to continue to thoroughly for all party members, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and all people to strictly observe regulations on forest protection.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to strictly implement their management responsibilities on fire prevention and fighting, strengthen inspection and supervision.
They ready forces and means according to the motto "4 on the spot and 5 ready" to participate in fire fighting in the peak months of the dry season; develop scenarios to respond to forest fire situations and have a mechanism for mobilizing and synergizing forces in the district to handle effectively.
The People's Committees of communes carefully review, develop and organize the effective implementation of the plan for fire prevention and fighting, focusing on repairing works of fire prevention, inspection, detection.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is responsible for well performing the function of Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Sustainable Forestry Development Program, period 2021-2025.
It is requested to promulgate documents urging, directing, and organizing the fire prevention and fighting force according to regulations.
Provincial Forest Protection Department strengthens inspection and urges the formulation and implementation of forest fire prevention and fighting plans by localities and forest owners.
They will organize inspection of fire prevention and fighting safety conditions according to regulations; timely update weather data and developments from the Provincial Hydrometeorological Station to provide information on forest fire forecasts and daily warnings on the mass media.
