Strengthening fire prevention

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Steering Committees of Fire Prevention and Control at all levels to direct units and localities to organize exciting and practical activities in response to the 22nd "All People's Fire Prevention Day" (October 4, 2023).

They are directed to promote effective implementation of the movement of all people participating in fire prevention and fighting; urge agencies, organizations and people to sign commitments to ensure fire prevention.

They develop and organize drills on fire fighting plans and mobilize many forces and vehicles to participate in districts, towns and cities, and in industrial parks, commercial centers and high-rise buildings at risk of fire, high explosion in the province.

The fire prevention and fighting steering committees of communes, wards and townships open a concentrated activity session for the civil defense force to review and supplement knowledge and proficiently train skills to prevent and handle situations when a fire occurs.

The Provincial Police will strengthen the fire safety inspection at facilities with high risk of fire and explosion, crowded places, markets, commercial centers, industrial explosives warehouses, facilities that use chemicals in production and business activities, etc.

Along with that, they regularly organize training to improve professional skills for the Fire and Rescue Police forces; coordinate with localities and units in organizing fire prevention and fighting training for civil defense forces, grassroots fire prevention and fighting forces and specialized fire prevention and fighting forces; instruct on how to use, maintain and check the means and equipment equipped for effective use when problems occur.
