Scientific Conference "Enterprise Digital Transformation - Recovery and Development"

The conference connected online to 12 bridge points in districts and towns, and broadcasted live on social networking applications.

Digital transformation plays an important role in the 4^th Industrial Revolution, which is an inevitable trend, opening up many opportunities as well as challenges for all levels, sectors, localities and Quang Ngai province today.

According to the National Digital Transformation Program till 2025, with a vision to 2030, Quang Ngai province will implement the Program basing on three main pillars: digital government, digital economy and digital society.

For digital government, Quang Ngai province strives to provide 80% of online public services on various means of access; 100% of online public services at levels 3 and 4 related to people and businesses are integrated on the National Public Service Portal; at least 90% of people and businesses are satisfied with administrative procedures.

For digital economy development, the province sets a target of accounting for 10% of GRDP, annual labor productivity increasing by 7%...

For digital society development, Quang Ngai will have fiber optic broadband infrastructure covering over 80% family; 100% of communes universalize 4G/5G network and mobile phone; 30% of the population has electronic payment account.

At the conference, the delegates shared many presentations, focusing on issues of promoting digital transformation in enterprises, improving production and business efficiency, improving capacity and competitive advantage, and creating new value for business.

VNPT Group introduced technology solutions and carried out a number of policies and support programs in order to accompany businesses in implementing and promoting digital transformation.

Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Tan Duc emphasized that, the workshop has great significance in the implementation of the province's National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with orientation to 2030.

In the process of transforming and operating digital government, digital economy and digital society, the success of businesses will contribute to the overall success of the province in building a digital government, digital economy and digital society in the coming time.

Concluding at the workshop, Chairman of the provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations Le Quang Thich said that, the achieved results in digital transformation process in Quang Ngai province as well as in businesses are still low compare to the national average.

In the coming time, in order to strengthen the digital transformation process in enterprises, the business owners must change their thinking, awareness and determination with specific roadmaps; gradually change traditional operation methods and working processes to apply digital technology to production and business.
