Room to Read Organization’s program in the school year 2022-2023

Accordingly, it is expected that Room to Read and localities will deploy 60 demonstration libraries and 40 expansion libraries in new provinces this year. At the same time, Room to Read is also working hard with collaborating provinces to deploy 300 additional expansion libraries.

Founded in 2000, Room to Read is an American NGO working in the field of education in low-income communities in 20 countries. In Vietnam, Room to Read has been operating since 2001, so far the organization has implemented programs in 38 provinces and cities.

In Quang Ngai province, the Organization has been implementing a project of developing reading culture in the community, aiming to have 80% of students access and use intellectual information from the public library and school libraries. Currently, there are 18 primary schools in 3 districts of Binh Son, Son Tinh and Tu Nghia supported by Room to Read to build friendly libraries.
