Quang Ngai: the latest 18 testing samples of Sars-CoV-2 were negative

On April 05, Quang Ngai Center for Disease Control informed that 18 testing samples sent to Nha Trang Pasteur Institute have all negative results. Among them, there are 16 samples of fishermen on the fishing boat of Mr. Dang Dung in Binh Chau commune (Binh Son district) who just arrived at Tinh Ky port at noon April 04.
Due to going through the epidemic areas and contacted with foreigners, 16 fishermen on Mr. Dang Dung’s boat were checked body temperature by the Binh Son District Health Center. They were requested for medical report, concentrated isolation and taking testing samples in the afternoon of the same day.
By the afternoon of April 05, the results of the Pasteur Institute showed that all 16 samples were negative. In addition, 2 samples from 2 cases in Hanh Thinh commune (Nghia Hanh) were also negative. Currently, these 18 cases are in stable health and continue to be isolated and monitored within 14 days as prescribed.
By the afternoon of April 05, Quang Ngai province had taken 105 samples and all were negative for Sars-CoV-2.
