Quang Ngai: The first private medical unit allowed for COVID-19 testing

On August 09, the Department of Health issued Decision 2064 approving the scope of activities and technical list in medical examination and treatment of Thien Nhan Laboratory (address: 168 Hung Vuong, Quang Ngau City). 
This is the first private medical unit licensed by the provincial Department of Health to perform COVID-19 testing by RT-PCR and rapid test methods.
Thien Nhan Laboratory in Quang Ngai is invested with a system of equipment such as: Realtime PCR machine, Biological safety cabinet LN-BSC 1200, Autoclave, -40 degree negative refrigerator PCR cabinet, etc. In addition, the negative pressure room here is equipped with a suction and disinfection system with a speed of 4500-5500 m3/hour, ensuring maximum safe ventilation for the laboratory.
Earlier, Thien Nhan testing unit in Quang Ngai was put into operation. After more than 1 month, it received samples for more than 23,000 people, organized mobile testing for more than 100 agencies and business units, isolation areas in the province.
