Quang Ngai records 18 new cases on October 18

Quang Ngai province, in the morning of October 18, recorded 18 new cases of COVID-19. All are in isolation and blockade areas. Bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in Quang Ngai from June 26, 2021 to now to 1,470 cases. 
Out of 18 new cases, 08 cases were recorded in the concentrated isolation areas and 06 cases in the blockade areas.
Four other cases were returnees from Ho Chi Minh City and have had 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, they were isolated at home.
Earlier, in the afternoon of October 17, the Department of Health also informed about 02 new cases of COVID-19 in Duc Pho town. Specifically, 01 case has a house in Tap An Bac residential group, Pho Van ward and 01 case has a house in Tan Son village, Pho Nhon commune.
Both cases are residents who were picked up by the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee from Ho Chi Minh City on October 16.
