On October 20, Quang Ngai recorded 13 cases of COVID-19. Quang Ngai city continued to record COVID-19 cases inside the community in Chanh Lo ward. 
In 13 new cases, there is 01 community case is a female, name B.T.D.T, born in 1971, has a house at Quang Trung street, group 6, Chanh Lo ward.
05 cases related to community cases B.T.D.T at Quang Trung street, group 6, Chanh Lo ward. In which, 02 cases are relatives living in the same house with B.T.D.T, including husband (born in 1955) and child (born in 2000). The remaining 03 cases are neighbors who live next to the house of patient B.T.D.T.
02 cases related to the cluster of cases in Co Luy Nam village, Nghia Phu commune, Quang Ngai city, are F1 of patient 864832, announced on October 18.
02 cases related to a cluster of cases in Hai Ninh village, Binh Thanh commune, Binh Son district, both are F1 of Case 835160, announced on October 8.
01 case living in Khe Tan hamlet, Co Luy village, Tinh Khe commune, Quang Ngai city. The patient returned from the epidemic area and completed the concentrated isolation period. On the 7th day of home isolation, samples were taken and the results were positive for SARS-CoV-2.
02 cases are returnees from COVID-19 epidemic areas, including 01 diver in Nghia Ky commune, Tu Nghia district and 01 driver living in Mo Duc town.
From June 26, 2021 to now, the total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in Quang Ngai is 1,495.
