Quang Ngai province well controls the Covid-19 epidemic situation

According to a report of the Health Department, patient No. 370 was positive for Sars-CoV-2 on July 9, 2020 and is currently being treated at Facility 2 of the Binh Son District Medical Center under the treatment map of the Health Ministry.

20 close contacts (F1), 17 cases of distant contacts are also being monitored. They have stable health with no respiratory symptoms. Their second test results are both negative for Sars-CoV-2.

According to statistics, about more than 1,700 experts from businesses, including Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company, Binh Son Refinery and Petrochemical Company and 09 other enterprises will arrive Quang Ngai till August 2020. They will be isolated and under medical supervision as prescribed.

The provincial Military Command said that, on July 23, Quang Ngai will welcome about 343 Vietnamese citizens abroad to enter Vietnam at Da Nang airport. These citizens will be isolated at the Center for Training and Education of National Defense and Security.

The Department of Foreign Affairs also said that, in preparation for the new school year, Quang Ngai province will welcome more than 250 Lao and Cambodian students studying at the schools, the province should arrange isolation area for these students.

Speaking at the meeting, the PPC’s Vice Chairman Dang Ngoc Dzung assigned the Director of the Health Department to arrange appropriate isolation areas, avoiding spread of epidemic into the community.

Finance Department was assigned to allocate funds for supporting forces participating in epidemic prevention and control according to regulations, urgently provide temporary funds for health sector to pay for prevention activities in recent time.

Agencies and related businesses continue to cooperate well, take responsible for receiving and quarantining all entry cases, ensuring safety for people who paticipate into the isolation and prevention works.
