Quang Ngai isolates 1.204 people

On August 12, the Department of Health of Quang Ngai province said that, so far, the province has not recorded any new cases of Covid-19, the whole province recorded 6 cases of COVID-19, of which, 02 cases were discharged from hospital in the morning of August 12; the remaining 04 cases are continuing to be monitored, cared and treated at Facility 2 - Binh Son District Medical Center.

Quang Ngai province is implementing concentrated quarantine for 1,204 people; including 172 people with symptoms of fever, cough, difficulty breathing. 12 out of 13 districts have at least 01 isolating area in operation. Quang Ngai province currently has 240 testing samples with no results.

In order to promote the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control, districts, towns and city in Quang Ngai province have established and put into operation more than 1,200 “Communication and monitoring team of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control” in order to conduct monitoring, surveillance, and communication on epidemic prevention and control in households.

The propaganda work in community on Covid-19 epidemic is strengthened

Mr. Pham Minh Duc, Deputy Director of the Quang Ngai Health Department, said that, thanks to the involvement of the entire political system, the epidemic situation in the province is well controlled.

In the upcoming time, it is necessary to focus highly to drastically implement measures, especially tracing people with epidemiological signs; to mobilize more human and material resources; to improve testing capacity in the province in order to promptly offer appropriate solutions and expand the people of sampling, screening and tracing.
