Quang Ngai establishes one more field hospital with 500 beds

With the number of Covid-19 cases has increased continuously, Quang Ngai decided to set up a 500-bed field hospital to collect and treat patients. 
On August 15, Mr. Dang Van Minh - Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee signed a decision to use the dormitory of Dung Quat Technology College as a field hospital to treat Covid-19 patients. This is the third hospital to receive and treat patients infected with nCoV in the province.
This hospital has a capacity of 500 beds and is responsible for collecting and treating Covid-19 patients since August 17 until the task is completed.
Minh assigned the Quang Ngai Military Command to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Health and other sectors and localities to ensure human resources, equipment, supplies, drugs and chemicals... for this field hospital to effectively treat Covid-19 patients.
Previously, on July 5, Quang Ngai decided to use Tuberculosis and Lung Disease Hospital as a hospital to treat Covid-19 patients (facility 2). This hospital has a scale of 150 beds, which is responsible for collecting and treating severe Covid-19 patients.
Facing the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, over the past 3 days, the Quang Ngai health sector cooperated with Binh Son district to take samples to do Realtime-PCR testing for nearly 15,000 people in 06 residential groups in Chau O town in order to remove F0 from the community.
From June 26 to August 15, Quang Ngai recorded 488 cases of Covid-19, including many cases inside the community.
