Quang Ngai DOFA promotes the digital transformation in foreign information activities

Quang Ngai Department of Foreign Affairs (Quang Ngai DOFA) has gradually promoted digital transformation in all its activities, including external information. 
In 2021, facing the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, Quang Ngai DOFA has proactively diversified forms of communication and dissemination; and promoted the digital transformation in the external information work, such as making and broadcasting promotional video clips on PTQ channel and social networks; published many articles in Quang Ngai electronic newspaper; Quang Ngai external bulletin published on the website of Quang Ngai DOFA.
Quang Ngai DOFA also held many online external activities with foreign diplomatic missions in Vietnam, foreign NGOs; online international conference between Quang Ngai province and Champasak province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, online conference to mobilize foreign aid to the province in the 2016-2021 period, etc…
As a result, it has created a high efficiency and spread, attracting more groups of readers, contributing to providing the trustworthy information and further promoting the image of Vietnam in general and Quang Ngai in particular and its people to domestic and foreign readers.
In order to effectively implement the external information work in the upcoming time, meeting the goals and requirements set out in the new context, it is necessary to synchronously carry out the following basic tasks and solutions:
Firstly, raise awareness about the importance of digital transformation; strengthen communication and dissemination to raise awareness about the importance of digital transformation for officials and related organizations and individuals;
Secondly, diversify communication forms of external information on the basis of setting up and managing social network accounts in order to attract many audiences; proactively and actively use social networks for communication, dissemination, and promotion.
Thirdly, study to find out effective ways to digital transformation, not only digital transformation in external information work but also in the Department’s all activities and external affairs; strengthen close and rhythmic coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the Press and Information Department under the MOFA, enterprises, press, and overseas representative missions of Vietnam…
